Project Engineer
As safety officer for Portland Services, Inc., Robert Glemser ensures that the company’s stringent safety standards are being met on all projects.
Glemser joined Portland in 2006 as commercial and residential project engineer for the company’s Orlando office. Prior to that, he was construction manager for Orlando-based Centerline Homes, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction from foundation to move-in.
He also was a warranty representative for Lennar Corporation, ensuring customer satisfaction by working with sub-contractors to repair defects in construction and materials prior to final walk-through with homeowners.
Glemser’s construction experience dates back to 1993 when he joined the Navy Seabees and helped build bases, airstrips and roads in various military theatres around the world. During his six-year stint as a Seabee, Glemser received advance training in construction management, safety, quality and leadership.
A native of Orlando, FL, Glemser moved to South Florida in April, 2009 and currently resides in Kendall.
