Luis Fernando Barbosa is quality assurance representative for Portland Services, Inc. Throughout all phases of a construction project, Barbosa ensures that the company’s and its clients’ high standards are being met or exceeded.
Barbosa has worked in the construction business for more than 15 years, first as general manager for Nova Roseira in Sao Paolo, Brazil, then as owner and president of Porto Real, a Sao Paolo-based company specializing in sand extraction, mining exploration, high-capacity water and sand pumping and gravel classification and separation.
In 1999, Barbosa was named field manager at Portland Services, responsible for general residential and commercial remodeling projects. He left Portland in 2003 to found his own residential and commercial remodeling firm, Level Services, and later was hired as general manager for Attessa Trading, a Miami-based import/export firm.
A native of Sao Paulo, Barbosa studied mechanical engineering at Unimep University in Santa Barbara, Brazil, and business administration at ASSER University in Sao Carlos, Brazil. Barbosa has been a South Florida resident since 1999, and currently resides in Brickell Key.
